The Paradise area of Birmingham’s city centre is being transformed into a vibrant mixed use development of commercial, civic, retail, leisure and hotel space.The redevelopment covers 1.8 million square feet and includes a 550 space underground car park.
We were appointed in 2014 as lead consultant for the parking and security elements of the development.
The scope included car park design and function, signage and way finding strategy. The operational management methodologies and create the technology and equipment specification. A detailed business and financial appraisal was undertaken to provide cost and revenue forecasts to feed into the long term business plan.
